Introducing your new MPI St. Louis Chapter website
In an effort to save you time, we have put all your local chapter and national MPI information on one site.
Feel free to explore all the drop down menus, but we think your favorite will be:
All the chapter photos and member video archives under the Media tab
Local chapter events and meeting info under the Events tab
All archived editions of Slants newsletter under the Publications tab
If you want to access MPI national membership directories, log in, but otherwise the site is free for anyone to navigate.
We have listed our FAQs below, so go out and explore the new website today!
Looking forward to your feedback and questions; please email: slampi@qabs.com
FAQs:
1. The new website looks strange on my computer, what’s wrong?
Your resolution setting may need to be adjusted. Adjust it to 1024 x 768. This adjustment is located under computer properties, under settings (for most PCs).
2. I adjusted the resolution and the page still is misaligned, what’s wrong?
Your Internet Explorer (IE) version is most likely version 6 or older. This website is support by IE 7 or 8 only. Please contact your IT department for an upgrade or download firefox or safari browser options.
3. Do I have to log in to get local chapter information?
No. All the tabs listed on the menu bar are free to navigate without logging in. If you would like access to MPI national membership directories or online learning (webinars), you will need to log in.
4. What if I forgot my MPI log in and password?
After your first failed attempt, click on the link “forgot your password” and follow the steps.
5. I have noticed some sites lead me outside of the chapter website, why?
Menu items like the Chapter Newsletter issue links (e.g. January 2010) and Meetings Mean Results are hosted on another website. To get back to the main site, just close the window.
6. Does our chapter control all of the content on the website?
No. This website is a hybrid website, where the St. Louis Chapter updates some menu tabs (Chapter Events) with our information, but MPI would control updates on other menu tabs (MPI Foundation). Some menu items are updated by both organizations; local chapter info is on the top section and MPI information is on the bottom section (e.g. CMP and CMM certification).
