MPI Membership Transfer Policy

MPI membership belongs to the individual. In some cases, the MPI membership dues are paid directly by the organization that employs the member. When an MPI member leaves employment of that company, it may be appropriate to transfer membership to another designee of that organization. This decision is at the discretion of the organization who paid for the membership. If an organization wishes to transfer membership to another individual within their organization the direct supervisor of the original member may complete and sign an MPI membership release, fill out a transfer application and remit $45.

This information needs to be sent to the Member Records Department at MPI headquarters in Dallas. The term for the new member will be renewable on the expiration date of the original member. Membership transfers are only applicable to full dues paying members and are not applicable to lifetime members or students.
